INTERVIEW: KOYUR

1.Where do you get inspiration? Top three things that inspire you?

I get my inspiration from traveling, just exploring new places, and learning about cultures, I find it so fascinating. I enjoy being a foreigner in the countries I visit, it's refreshing taking everything in, taking pictures, and just making new memories. My dad inspires me too, his work rate is crazy, coming from Bangladesh to the UK at a young age and just working his whole life and being able to achieve what he's achieved, it's crazy, the work rate of an immigrant is unmatched and powerful. And the last thing that inspires me is fashion designers such as Nigo, Takashi Murakami, Verdy, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Virgil Abloh, their vision and work process are just cool to see!

2.What tips do you have for networking and such for people just starting out?

Erm, to be fair, in starting out myself. The only tip I can give is, just be open to speak to anyone and try to make friends wherever you go, you can never have too many friends and offer help wherever you can. Also, drop your ego too, never think you're better than anyone, humble yourself if you appreciate someone's work then tell them, who knows you might be able to build a good relationship with that person. And most importantly, as cliché as it sounds, just be yourself!

3.Other hobbies or interests? What else would you possibly be doing right in life if you had not followed this path?

Well, currently I'm a support/network engineer, I have been working full time for over a year. I'm into graphics designing, photography, editing, and fashion designing. I've always been a big fan of technology and just creating things, makes life more fun.

4.The top song on your playlist right now?

I'm an RnB kinda guy, anything that's relaxing to be fair. My favorite song at the moment would be Giveon - Heartbreak Anniversary.

5.How do you dress and what do you think it says about you and such? What’s your personal style?

I'd say my personal style is just being comfy, I'd never compromise my comfort just to fit in or look somewhat "cool", I just enjoy feeling relaxed. Nowadays I've just been wearing my own clothes that I've made. 

6.Your astrological sign

I don't really follow astrology but my star sign is Cancer.
